Can’t I just paste the contract into ChatGPT?
You can, and it will answer with confidence. It won’t show you the clause, play the scenario, or stand behind the answer. Sentinel shows its working: the words that break, the situation that breaks them, and every step in between.
Does Sentinel use AI?
Yes, to read, and never on trust. Every fact the model takes from your contract must carry a quote, and the quote is checked against the document. What can’t be found in the text is discarded. A second pass can remove a finding but never add one.
What if Sentinel is wrong?
Then you’ll see exactly where. Every finding points to its clause and shows the steps that led to it, so a bad one takes seconds to dismiss. You are never asked to take its word for it.
What does it catch that a careful lawyer misses?
Interactions. A liability cap in § 9 that a free pilot in § 3 quietly sets to zero. A defined term that points to an empty schedule. People read clauses one at a time. Sentinel reads them against each other, then plays them forward.
Will it replace my lawyers?
No. It replaces the read-through nobody has time for. Sentinel finds and cites; your lawyers decide what to do about it. It is decision support, not legal advice.
Whose side is it on?
The side you pick. Choose the party the memo is written for and every risk is re-scored from that chair: against you, in your favour, or cutting both ways, ordered by what to fix first. Or choose neither and get just the facts.
How long does a contract take?
A few minutes for a typical agreement, from upload to a ranked list of findings. The memo is built from the same findings, so it is ready when they are.
What happens to our contracts?
They stay yours. Sentinel doesn’t train on them unless you switch that on, and it is off by default. Delete a contract and the file, the findings, the memo and every export go with it. Every run is logged.
Which formats and languages?
PDF, DOCX or plain text in. The memo comes out as a page, a PDF or a DOCX, and all three are the same document. The interface runs in English and Russian.
